Because AuntFlo items are classified as Sanitary products, we are unfortunately unable to swap them over for you. The pair stays with you.

Sanitary products that come back to us cannot be sold again, even when they are unused, unworn and unwashed. That rule exists to keep hygiene, health and safety standards strict, protecting both our customers and our warehouse team. We are here for the planet, and just as much for your wellbeing!

That said, if this is your very first order with us, we are happy to gift you one pair of underwear in the correct size when the wrong size was picked by mistake.

That depends on how heavy your flow is and which absorbency level you picked, our period undies can be worn solo, or backed up with some extra protection.

Yes, our period undies are made without PFAs. They simply have no place in the way we design AuntFlo products.

How long you can go between changes comes down to a handful of things: your flow, the absorbency of the pair you are wearing, and how comfortable you feel. Use the pointers below as a guide:

1. Flow Level

• Light Flow: With a lighter flow you can often go up to 8 hours before changing, depending on the absorbency rating of the pair.
• Moderate Flow: With a moderate flow, plan on a change roughly every 6-8 hours, and sooner if you notice any dampness or discomfort.
• Heavy Flow: On heavier days, changing every 4-6 hours is the safest way to avoid leaks. Depending on how much has been absorbed, you may want to change even sooner.

2. Signs of Full Absorbency

• Feeling Damp or Wet: Noticing moisture or dampness coming through means the pair has hit its absorbency capacity, and it is time for a fresh one.
• Discomfort: If the fit starts feeling uncomfortable, or you can feel the fabric clinging to your skin, swap them out to stay comfortable and hygienic.

3. Personal Comfort

• Even well before the absorbency limit, if you are feeling less comfortable or less confident, go ahead and change. Feeling secure through your period is what matters most.

4. Activity Level

• Busy days, working out, swimming, plenty of moving about, usually call for more frequent changes. All that movement shifts how absorption behaves, and a fresh pair keeps leaks off your mind.

5. End of Day / Overnight Use

• Wearing them overnight? Somewhere between 8 and 12 hours is a good window, depending on your flow. On very heavy nights, teaming them with a menstrual cup or tampon adds extra backup.

Above all, tune in to your body and change whenever comfort dips, that is what keeps you feeling confident and hygienic.
